On generalized Hermite-Hadamard inequality for generalized convex function

In this paper, a new inequality for generalized convex functions which is related to the left side of generalized Hermite-Hadamard type inequality is obtained. Some applications for some generalized special means are also given.

Citizenship Identity and Social Inequality

Citizenship identity depends not only on a legal status, but essentially on access to social and economic resources. Thus, citizenship identity, the sense of belonging and solidarity, is necessarily connected with the problem of unequal distribution of resources in society. Modern conception of universal citizenship, specially when it is combined with extreme inequality and poverty, tends to ex...

Maclaurin’s Inequality and a Generalized Bernoulli Inequality

Maclaurin’s inequality is a natural, but nontrivial, generalization of the arithmetic-geometric mean inequality. We present a new proof that is based on an analogous generalization of Bernoulli’s inequality. Applications of Maclaurin’s inequality to iterative sequences and probability are discussed, along with a graph-theoretic version of the inequality.

Generalized g-quasivariational inequality

Suppose that X is a nonempty subset of a metric space E and Y is a nonempty subset of a topological vector space F. Let g : X → Y and ψ : X ×Y →R be two functions and let S : X → 2Y and T : Y → 2F be two maps. Then the generalized g-quasivariational inequality problem (GgQVI) is to find a point x ∈ X and a point f ∈ T(g(x)) such that g(x) ∈ S(x) and supy∈S(x){Re〈 f , y − g(x)〉 + ψ(x, y)} = ψ(x,...

Generalized Gin1 Inequality Indices

When incomes are ranked in descending order the social-evaluation function corresponding to the Gini relative inequality index can be written as a linear function with the weights being the odd numbers in increasing order. We generalize this function by allowing the weights to be an arbitrary non-decreasing sequence of numbers. This results in a class of generalized Gini relative inequality ind...
